Laryngeal Surgery
Surgery is an effective treatment option for patients with cancer of the larynx or voice box. Depending on the patient’s condition, a total or partial laryngectomy may be performed to remove all or a portion of the voice box. Laryngeal surgery may also be used in conjunction with other treatments including radiation therapy or chemotherapy.
