Phonosurgery

This generally refers to surgical procedures performed to improve the voice and is usually applied to benign conditions of the larynx or voice box. Phonosurgery is advised in cases where conservative treatments have proven ineffective or will not be effective as treatment should focus on the underlying cause, not the lesion.

There are several forms of phonosurgery available today, the most suitable of which will be recommended by the doctor after a full evaluation and diagnosis.
