Surgery For Deviated Nasal Bones an Nasal Septum

Surgery for Deviated Nasal Bones and Nasal Septum

Nasal bones and the nasal septum, which is the partition between the two nasal cavities, are the structural framework that holds up our nose. In some cases, deviation of the nasal bones and/or nasal septum may cause nasal obstruction and affect normal breathing. There are several surgical options to correct this.

  • Surgery for nasal trauma
  • Septoplasty – a corrective surgical procedure performed to straighten the nasal septum
  • Functional septorhinoplasty – a surgical procedure that addresses the structure of the nasal skeleton to improve nasal breathing
