Background
Prof. Christopher Goh is an Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) surgeon with more than 20 years’ experience in the field. He provides specialised care for patients with head and neck conditions through his advance surgical techniques.
Prior to his move to private practice, Prof. Goh was the Head of Department and Senior Consultant of Otolaryngology at SGH. He remains a Visiting Consultant to SGH and National Cancer Centre Singapore.
Teaching and moulding future generations of doctors is an aspect of medicine that Prof. Goh has a passion for. He was the Chairman of the Residency Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Health which oversees the training of
residents in Singapore.
Prof. Goh is actively involved in the otolaryngology arena. He is currently the Treasurer of the ASEAN Federation of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. He served as President of the Society of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery Singapore from 2007 to 2009 and is a founding member of the Asian Society of Head & Neck Oncology.
Committed to providing the best for patients, Prof. Goh has helped train surgeons through several medical missions to other countries, so that they can continue to serve their community. He is also presently the Chief Commissioner of St John’s Ambulance Brigade whose goal is to provide service to mankind through the promotion of first aid skills and CPR.
Prof. Goh’s work in ENT-Head & Neck surgery is highly regarded and he is frequently invited as a guest speaker at regional and international conferences. An extensively published surgeon, Prof. Goh has more than 40 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals to his name.
